Razdrto quarry

Road construction and the related need for raw materials after the Second World War have caused the development of the Razdrto quarry along the outskirts of the village of Razdrto. Its production has been growing year by year and today stands at 130,000 m3 annually.

The limestone obtained from the quarry enables high-quality processing into sand, crushed stone, and sub-base materials.  Due to the vicinity of the Senožeče asphalt plant, this material is mostly used for own production of asphalt mixtures. High-quality materials ensure the satisfaction of the most demanding customers.

The growing demand for materials and ecological challenges have led to numerous modernisations of the quarry plant and newer machinery and it is within this framework that we strive for the protection and preservation of the environment

The Razdrto quarry produces the following materials:

• ground sand 0 - 4 mm,
• crushed stone 4 - 8, 8 - 11, 11 - 16, 16 – 22 and 22 - 32 mm,
• concrete mix 0 - 16 mm,
• ground sub-base material 0 - 32, 0 - 45 and 0 - 63 mm,
• sub-base material 0 - 32 mm,
• sub-grade fill material 0 - 125 mm,
• cyclone powder.
   

On various levels we also produce:

• chippings – blasted,
• chippings – graded,
• chipped - blocks.
